Overview
AnantaHQ ("we", "us", "our") operates AnantaTools, a free suite of online tools available at anantatools.com, comprising PDFTools, IMGTools, and DevTools (together, the "Service"). This policy explains what information is collected when you use the Service and how it is used. Because file handling differs slightly by tool, each suite also publishes its own detailed privacy page — linked at the bottom of this policy — covering exactly how that suite's tools process your files.
No account required
The Service does not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for personal information such as your name, email, or phone number to use any tool.
How your files are handled
Many tools — such as the QR code and barcode generators, and several DevTools utilities — run entirely client-side in your browser; your data never reaches our servers at all. Where a tool requires server-side processing (for example, PDF compression or image conversion), your file is uploaded over an encrypted HTTPS connection, processed in an isolated temporary location, and deleted immediately once your result is delivered. We do not store, log, read, or retain uploaded files beyond the time required to complete the requested operation.
Cookies & local storage
We use minimal functional local storage — for example, to remember your preferred theme (light or dark mode) or recent download history within your own browser. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
Google AdSense & advertising
The Service displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and can learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Data collection
We do not collect, sell, or share personal information. The only data we may collect in aggregate is anonymous usage analytics (such as page views and which tools are popular) to help us improve the Service. This data is not used to identify you individually.
Children's privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
