About the Extract Pages

Extraction differs from splitting in intent: splitting is about breaking a whole document into several pieces, while extraction is about pulling out a specific subset of pages you actually need and discarding the rest — for example, pulling just the signature page and appendix out of a 40-page contract rather than dealing with the entire document.

Enter specific page numbers or ranges (like '1, 3, 5-8') and this tool produces a new PDF containing only those pages, in that order. It's the tool for isolating a relevant section of a long document — an exhibit, a specific chapter, a set of forms — without manually recreating it page by page.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I specify which pages to extract?

Enter page numbers or ranges separated by commas. For example: 1,3,5-7 extracts pages 1, 3, 5, 6, and 7.

Can I extract a range of pages?

Yes. Use a hyphen to specify a range, e.g. 2-5 extracts pages 2, 3, 4, and 5.
